Businesses were relying on disconnected spreadsheets, paper registers, and manual processes for accounting, invoicing, and financial tracking. Data inconsistency, lost records, delayed report generation, and lack of real-time visibility into financial health plagued administrators. The client needed a unified, multi-tenant SaaS platform that could manage complex financial operations while ensuring data isolation per organization.
We built Invent Finance using Clean Architecture / Onion Architecture with a decoupled .NET backend and Angular frontend applications. The backend follows a five-project solution with strict dependency flow. The platform uses Company-based multi-tenancy with global query filters enforcing data isolation per organization. Features include ASP.NET Identity with role-based access control, double-entry accounting workflow, invoice and expense management, recurring billing, financial reporting with configurable dashboards, tax calculation, revenue recognition, cash flow forecasting, multi-currency support, JWT authentication, and n8n webhook integration with third-party services for payment notifications.
