Edu Manage (Education Management System) is a comprehensive, multi-tenant school management platform designed to digitize and automate the full spectrum of school operations — from academics, attendance, and examinations to finance, transport, communication, and administration. It serves three distinct user groups: Super Admin (platform owner), School Admin, Tutors (teachers), Students, and Guardians (parents).

Schools were running on disconnected spreadsheets, paper registers, and manual processes across academics, attendance, fees, examinations, and communication. Data inconsistency, lost records, delayed report cards, and lack of real-time visibility into student progress or financial health plagued administrators. Teachers wasted hours on manual attendance and grading. Parents had no visibility into their child's performance. The client needed a unified, multi-tenant SaaS platform that could serve multiple schools independently while sharing the same infrastructure.
We built Edu Manage using Clean Architecture / Onion Architecture with a decoupled .NET backend and two Angular frontend applications (School Portal for admins/tutors/students, and SuperAdmin Portal for platform management). The backend follows a five-project solution (EMS.Domain, EMS.Core, EMS.Data, EMS.IOC, EMS.API) with strict dependency flow. The platform uses Company-based multi-tenancy with Academic Year scoping — every entity implements IHasMultiTenant with global query filters enforcing data isolation per school. Features include ASP.NET Identity with five roles and JWT authentication, student promotion workflows, recurring timetable scheduling with conflict-free APIs, daily attendance marking, full examination management with paper lifecycle, configurable grade scales, homework submission with status tracking, fee structure with late fee engine, expense and staff salary management, transport management, SignalR-powered real-time messaging, announcements, virtual classes with attendance tracking, SaaS subscription plans with feature gating via [SubscriptionFeature] attribute, and n8n webhook integration with WhatsApp Cloud API for notifications.
